CME Exchange Expands Crypto Data Suite with Real-Time HBAR Pricing Indices

CME Group has broadened its cryptocurrency data offerings by launching real-time and reference pricing indices for Hedera's HBAR token. The new metrics will debut on December 29 via CME's Cryptocurrency Pricing Market Data feed, distributed through CME Globex on Google Cloud.

The offering includes both daily benchmark rates and continuously updated real-time pricing. HBAR joins an expanding roster of digital assets tracked by CME's standardized market data products. This development coincides with broader platform upgrades being communicated through CME's technical channels.

London and New York pricing variants will publish after 4 PM local time, with the HBARUSD_RR reference rate appearing first in London, followed by the HBARUSD_NY iteration. The indices will maintain operations through weekends and banking holidays.
